Guidance for Presentations
The 3rd CIRP International Conference on High Performance Cutting will comprise of 18 oral technical sessions. Each oral session will be managed by a session chairman and a member of the High Performance Team. Poster presentations will be available to view throughout the duration of the conference.
Oral Presentations
Presentation Timings:
Sessions will be 1hr 40mins duration. Consisting in most cases of 1 keynote presentation and 4 further oral presentations each (15mins + 5mins questions).
Presentation Submission:
Presentations should be handed in at the IT desk beside the registration stand in the Global Irish Institute. Presentations may be handed in once registration is open, from 4:00pm on Wednesday 11th of June, however presentations should be submitted at the latest one hour before the beginning of the session of the assigned presentation time.
Authors taking part in the oral sessions must provide their talks in PowerPoint format only!
Poster Presentations
Poster Session Venue:
Poster sessions will take place in the vicinity of the Sponsors exhibition (room 130) in the Engineering Building. A map of specific poster board areas will be available at registration. Poster set-up will be open from the beginning of registration.
Maximum poster size should be A0 (850mm width x 1200mm Height). Poster boards will be A0 size and set up in portrait format. There is no specific layout for the content of the poster imposed, please feel free to utilise any templates that you institution recommends or however you feel best displays the work of the poster.
